Welcome to Cloud City, where saying "Your head is in the clouds," is considered a compliment. I promise to slow down with all the tastless jokes.

Anyway, I'm sure you're here aching to get started with Windows Azure. Well as of right now so am I!

But here's the great news, you don't necessarily need to have youre Azure hosting account provisioned in order to start developing for the Cloud. The Windows Azure SDK has everything you need to develop an application for hosting within Windows Azure. Including a virtual cloud center. If you're using Visual Studio 2008, you'll probably want to download the Visual Studio Tools for Windows Azure. Don't despair if you don't have VS 2008, it works with Visual Web Developer Express as well. You'll probably want to get some training to familiarize yourself with the environment.

Finally, start building. Ask here or at the "other" Azure Forums if you need some help. And show off the cool stuff you can do!
